Description

The Getac X500 is a highly rugged notebook and extremely fast to create the ultimate mobile computing solution for military and field operations. The Getac X500 is military-certified to operate in the most extreme conditions. It is MIL-STD-810G certified for durability and shock protection, and its IP65 rating protects the device from water and dust. In addition, Getac offers ANSI/ISA 12.12.01 certified models that ensure the X500 is safe to use in areas with flammable or explosive materials.

The rugged Getac X500 notebook is powered by an Intel Quad Core i5-7440HQ vPro™ processor at 2.8 GHz or an optional Intel Quad Core i7-7820HQ vPro™ processor at 2.9 GHz for increased computing performance. It has a 500 GB hard drive, 8 GB DDR4 RAM and a 15.6-inch (1920 x 1080) QuadraClear sunlight-readable LED display. An optional, one-touch display is also available.

The Getac X500 multimedia bay can accommodate an optional Super Multi-DVD, a second battery, a second hard disk drive, or a solid-state drive to act as a RAID system.

The Getac X500 offers Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth® wireless technologies to provide mobile users with advanced wireless connectivity and improved productivity. GPS is also available as an option. Security features of the X500 include a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 security chip.
