Thermo people counters

Description

Our thermal counters are designed to count the flow of people. They can be inconspicuously installed in the ceiling to measure people passing under them with the help of thermal technology. The sensors are designed to detect the heat emitted by people passing under them in infrared radiation.

Thermometers are equipped with optical imaging devices, sensors, signal processing and accounting electronics, all in a discreet housing. High-performance algorithms will allow you to count people accurately even where the flow of people is high. It is also possible to network several sensors, dividing zones according to your needs and the required level of detail. In large rooms, it is possible to use several ceiling sensors to cover the entire desired area.

They are designed for simultaneous counting of several people going in both directions. The counters have a heat sensor and a high-speed signal processing controller. The counters have inconspicuous plastic housing that is easy to install on the ceiling.

The down-facing counter configuration allows the sensors to perform crowd counting by sensing the heat radiated by people below the sensor. The meter sensor counts heat in a square area on the floor, and the width of this area is approximately equal to the installation height (for example, a meter installed at an altitude of 3.5 m with an angle of 60˚ will “see” a 3.25 x 3.25 m square on the floor).

In larger rooms, installing and connecting several sensors to cover the desired area is possible.

The number of people’s data is automatically transferred from the thermometer to the Ethernet network device (SNG10E) or 3G network device (SNG103G) via a wireless connection.
