Description

A bidirectional counting algorithm determines the direction of visitors’ inward or outward movement. The SensMax Pro D3 SuperLongRange, bidirectional people counter, counts people over long distances in retail stores and medium and small shopping centres. This people counter sensor has a radio module with an extended connection range of up to 150 m.

The bidirectional counting shows how many people visited the shopping centre or store through the main entrance, each location or a specific area. Extended communication range allows a single data collector to be used for multiple people counting sensors. This people counter device is battery-operated. The battery life is up to 1 year. The people counting sensors scan the area 200 times per second, so the counting accuracy is high, up to 94-96%. This sensor has a built-in memory for backing up the last 25 days of data.

With this device, you can see the statistics for each direction and a summary report of the two directions of movement. There are two types of data gateways, LAN/Internet or 3G/Mobile Internet, and two types of software – cloud-based or client-server. The difference between them shows the number of people on the premises. The people counter automatically collects statistics for the whole day and delivers them every 20 minutes to a central database via a data collector. The people tracking system provides various ready-to-use reports per hour, day, week, month, and year.
