Modular in design, the DS-85i can come with, or be expanded to, up to six feed stations at any time to process your most challenging combinations of document sizes and types.

With the full-page Contact Image Sensor (CIS) scanning technology, the DS-85i can read any type of coding including optical mark, optical character, and 1D and 2D data matrix barcodes. Because the scanner reads the entire area of the page, codes can be printed anywhere on the document and read horizontally and vertically.

The DS-85i can be connected to your network to provide you with access to unique online services such as remote assistance and diagnostics to help you reduce downtime and minimize assembly times. The 7” color touch screen and wizard-based guidance simplify operation. Quickly recall up to 50 stored jobs or create new ones with ease. Load documents and envelopes, press start, and the DS-85i automatically measures the materials and sets itself up.

Continuous operation is achieved by linking feeders. If one feeder runs empty, another one automatically takes over, allowing you to refill as needed until your job is complete. Automatically fold & insert up to 4,000 mail pieces per hour.

The high capacity vertical stacker reduces the frequency of unloading, freeing the operator to attend to other tasks. It requires less handling and makes it possible to complete up to 500 envelopes every 8 minutes while running at maximum speed.

DS-85i can be configured with barcode reading technology to automate variable-page jobs, incorporating another layer of security that ensures the right documents are always sent to the right person.
